Career Challenge | Get ready for the challenge!

Cauţi un job,  un internship sau vrei pur şi simplu să afli mai multe despre mediul de afaceri şi despre cerinţele pe care le implică o anumită carieră? Participă la “Career Challenge”, un eveniment care te va aduce mai aproape de job-ul dorit.

Career Challenge este un eveniment marca RATIO care își propune să aibă un impact major asupra dezvoltării tinerilor atât din punct de vedere profesional, cât și personal, ajutând la formarea unei legături între studenți și companiile de specialitate.

Deşi, din punct de vedere teoretic, tinerii dispun de o bază solidă de cunoştinţe în domeniul economic, în momentul în care se lovesc de scopurile sale practice se pot simţi nepregătiţi, negăsind în bagajul de cunoştinţe informaţiile necesare care să le răspundă la întrebari precum “ce caută o companie?” şi “de ce abilități ar trebui să dispun?” atunci când sunt în căutarea unui job.

Career Challenge le oferă studenților posibilitatea de a lua parte, în perioada 21-31 mai 2018, la o serie de  workshop-uri susținute de speakeri din cadrul companiilor partenere, dar şi  de a participa la evenimente de tip Open Doors, unde vor avea ocazia de a se familiariza cu mediul de afaceri şi de a afla direct de la partenerii noştri care sunt cerinţele necesare pentru a deveni parte din echipă. Evenimentul pune accent pe dezvoltarea studenților, având menirea de a-i ajuta pe aceștia să își îmbunătățească abilitățile pentru postul pe care şi-l doreșc.

De ce ar trebui  să participi la acest eveniment?
  • Prin intermediul acestui  eveniment vei avea ocazia de a cunoaşte şi de a interacţiona  cu diferiți specialişti din domenii ce prezintă interes pentru tine;
  • Oportunități de joburi oferite de companiile partenere;
  • Interacționând cu speakerii  vei putea afla cât mai multe lucruri despre o companie sau despre ce presupune un loc de muncă;
  • Vei beneficia de aprofundarea, dar și abordarea din punct de vedere practic a cunoștințelor dobândite până acum în domeniul economic;
  • Vei învăţa cum  să-ţi evaluezi talentele, interesele și valorile. De asemenea, îţi vei stabili obiectivele și vei dezvolta un plan pentru a le atinge;
  • Vei primi informații despre carierele profesionale care oferă o perspectivă practică asupra a ceea ce implică acestea;

What you need to do:
  • Process incoming invoices, reminders, final demands according to the process documentation.
  • Double-check payments proposals and execute payment runs.
  • Performs corrections on demand.
  • Handles e-mails and calls from business units and vendors.
  • Assures KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Contributes towards process improvement initiatives.
What you need to know:

Education / Training:

  • High School or University Degree (Economic studies represent an advantage)

Professional Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of principles, practices, regulations, and procedures as they relate to purchasing and accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of the application of data processing techniques to accounting systems is an advantage – e.g. SAP system.

Languages:

  • English is a must (Advanced level). German is preferred.

What you need to do:
  • Execute GL postings with prepared Journal Vouchers both in IFRS and local GAAP
  • Analyze source documentation and execute recurring GL postings independently
  • Perform I/C reconciliations of balance sheet, income statement and segments for small and/or middle sized companies,  as well as propose/ perform I/C  adjustments postings
  • Run period end closing activities, such as:
    • High level review of final trial balance and perform a comparison of figures to previous periods with support from senior/expert GL associates if needed
    • Execute recurring journal entries
    • Perform accounts reconciliation activities
  • Execute reporting activities, such as:
    • Upload the figures into the financial system (SAP SEM) and analyze/solve common/recurrent validation errors
    • Reconcile the financial reporting system (SAP SEM) with SAP FI
    • Prepare the final trial balance based on IFRS figures and submit for analysis to ABP
  • Communicate efficiently with the customer: Accounting Business Partner as well as Centers of Competence Tax, Consolidation and Controlling.
What you need to know:

 Education / Training:

  • University Degree with proven ability in relevant subjects (e.g. Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies)

Professional Experience:

  • Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year relevant experience in accountancy. Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations, and procedures

Languages:

  • English & Hungarian (advanced/ professional, written and spoken)

  • Handles insolvent vendors.
  • Performs bank database maintenance and dual maintenance of vendors.
  • Performs internal control reporting tasks.
  • Maintains Certificate of Exemption and Gas & Electricity Reseller certificates in SAP.
  • Handles emails and calls from business units and vendors.
  • Performs other tasks: Daily task dispatch, KPI/SLA reporting and QC
What you need to know:

Education / Training:

  • University Degree or relevant experience.

Professional Experience:

  • Beginner level – Knowledge of principles, practices, regulations, and procedures as they relate to purchasing and accounts payable.
  • Knowledge of the application of data processing techniques to accounting systems is an advantage: e.g. SAP knowledge.

Languages:

  • English & German as a must.
